Marino's Primordial Sand series presses the normal image beyound the limits of immediate recognition. Like his roots in oil and acrylic painting, his experiments take the nude form and tecture-blend them into the primordial sand from which we all may begin and transcend to. The resulting abstaction is intriguing and mystifying.
